Painting Update – First Conceptual Piece
I recently started my first conceptual and figurative piece of art, inspired by my personal studies in scripture. This idea came to me many years ago and I’m finally feeling brave enough, and compelled enough to paint it. I have let my lack of training hold me back for a long time, but I finally decided to just dive in and see what happens!
I am only sharing small sections of the piece because I don’t want to reveal the concept until it’s finished, but I am happy with how it’s turning out so far. I have yet to really start working on the figures, so we’ll see! Haha!
Here’s a little video of a few seconds of painting that I shared on social media. Check back for updates and the finished piece!
