I'm cleaning my hard drive and came across this image taken and sent to me by the lovely artist, Lynde Mott. In 2018, before we actually used @rentbettybus for my music video "La La Love", we tried to use it for a spur of the moment shoot for another song. I think we made the best move using it for "La La Love" instead. It totally fit the song!

This image is of the amazing @randy.mott.524 and I scoping out the best spot for the shots on the video that didn't quite make the cut. Never a wasted moment when dear friends are part of the equation!

I wrote this song quite a few years ago. Someone broke my heart and I didn't get the apology or closure I needed, so I wrote what I needed to hear into a song and gave it to myself. Music is cool like that.

Working on a little stop motion imaging for an upc

Working on a little stop motion imaging for an upcoming music video. I used Illustrator to create the drawings (I'm still fairly new to Illustrator). I used Photoshop to create my scenes and Premiere Pro for putting it all together.

It took 2.5 hours to create 7 seconds of video. That may be why I've been putting off this video for a bit! Haha! I knew what it would take! But I will splice it with live shots so it won't all be animated.

Over the years of speaking and interacting with wo

Over the years of speaking and interacting with women and girls I've noticed a common theme of insecurity and generalized lack of confidence. It makes sense. We live in a world of illusion, where perfection appears normal and opportunities for comparison are constantly before us. Physical beauty and youth have become the way we measure worth and truth has become relative. What is there to build on in that scenario that has any real substance? How can there be confidence without a solid foundation?

One of the ways we build confidence is by adding substance to the mind, to our character, and to our spirit. When we do this THEN we have something to fall back on when life throws us off guard, or we question ourselves..

When we know what we think and believe, why we do what we do, and who we worship we have knowledge that can steady our confidence beyond the voices of the world that scream "you are not enough".
