Handmade Feather Greeting Card
You will need:
- Pre-made card and envelope in your color choice (I used Kraft paper cause that’s what I had on hand).
- Watercolor paints
- paper towel (to dab wet brush)
- Thin, colored cord to coordinate with paint
- Glue stick
- Black drawing pens (a single pen will do)
- Printable paper feather pattern
Start by printing and cutting our your paper feather.
Next, get your paintbrush wet, apply paint and brush into your feather in a design that appeals to you. I chose a mix of blue and purple and green.
Let your feather dry completely. Then glue it on to the front of your card.
I tied mine with thin, blue cord and then realized I wanted to add a little detail to my feather so I used a couple of drawing pens to add detail to the feather.
And you’re done!
I’d love to see how your handmade cards turn out using this feather pattern.
