Original Music Holiday Countdown – Song #1 – Jingle

The past few years, I’ve shared an original holiday songs on my personal Facebook page as kind of a countdown to Christmas. This year I thought I’d share the countdown here. It will go until the week of New Year’s Eve this year– because I have a New Year song now! In addition to sharing the song, I’ll also share a few fun facts or a few BTS about the music video or song.

The first song is “Jingle”.

Fun Facts:

• We shot Jingle in the West Desert in Utah County
• My husband made the fireplace, loaded it a pickup truck and set it up in the desert all by himself . He’d say “no big deal”, but this is a bulky and heavy piece, so this was no small task in my eyes.
• The nod to Johnny Cash in the video is a play on the words of the song and was something my husband came up with that we added for fun.
• We bought a snow machine for the last scene of this video.
• We used the truck to power a generator to run the snow machine and fireplace.
• I had a friend come out and watch us film for the first little bit. She took the images below behind the scenes.
• This was only the 3rd video we had ever shot.
