singer-songwriter & Creative Maven
Country-pop artist Jennifer Manges is a seasoned songwriter, penning deep, moving and meaningful messages long before she started performing them publicly. Reminiscent of the sound of Martina McBride and Sara Evans, Jennifer is a flashback to when female artists exemplified homespun country values and shared music that was not only fun and catchy, but thought-provoking.
Born and raised in Northern California, this Utah transplant’s musical influences include a mix of Rascal Flatts, Faith Hill, LeAnn Rhimes, and of course Martina McBride, as well as many 90’s bands, pop artists, and some contemporary Christian artists.
When she’s not writing and singing, Jennifer can be found behind her camera, in her craft studio, or doing anything that involves flowers and creativity. She loves to read and practice suburban homesteading skills.
A Little More About Jennifer
In addition to her music ventures and homemaking pursuits, Jennifer has been speaking to groups (especially girls and women) since 2011, sharing a message of overcoming hardship and reclaiming lost or injured self-worth.
Having persevered through abuse, betrayal trauma, divorce, loss of self-worth, remarriage, blending a family of 6 kids, homeschooling for 23 years, health challenges, identity crisis, faith crisis and more, Jennifer has repeatedly found the strength to move forward, in spite of fear, and learned to embrace her worth.
Exercising courage to face the darkness within, Jennifer entered the world of pageantry, where she was crowned Ms. Utah US Continental 2011. She also served as Mrs. US Ambassador 2015, has authored two books (with another on the way!), and is certified as an instructor in yin yoga.
Creativity has played a huge part in Jennifer’s healing process and she has developed a multiplicity of skills as an artist, designer and maker in many mediums. She has a deep love for photography and has been shooting images since she graduated from The New York Institute of Photography in 2008. She and her husband have been exploring videography since 2018 and have filmed all her music videos, and plan on many more film projects ahead. Jennifer currently resides in Utah with her husband, son and 9 chickens.
