Queen of the Kingdom & Meg Johnson

Last weekend I attended Queen of the Kingdom in Salt Lake City.  I’ve been seeking that final shift in my heart for a really long time.  And I have felt SO close for SO long.  I didn’t have any expectations when I went.  And, to be honest, the first day was pretty slow for me (and many others I talked to).  BUT the second day was TRANSFORMATIONAL!  And I believe the impact was great because I was READY.  I’ve done the work–for 13 years!

This is me and my good friend Lindy Kerby with Meg Johnson.  Meg Johnson is the reason I am forever changed. Profoundly changed.  The combination of my hard work and readiness, her words, her light, and the activities Kim Duncan created at that workshop for 1,000 women (yes, 1,000 women were there) changed me!  If you have not heard Meg Johnson speak you are missing out.  Her passion, enthusiasm, sense of humor, and complete gratitude and joy for her life are contagious.  She is the most beautiful and glorious person EVER! She inspired me in a way I don’t think anything else could.  And THAT is important to understand for each of us.  Because each and every one of us can inspire others in a way no one else can.  And that brings so much JOY to everyone involved.

The truth is, I’ve been dodging my purpose for a long time.  I didn’t feel worthy.  I didn’t feel beautiful enough, good enough, experienced enough, blah, blah, blah.  None of that matters.  What matters is how much light I can bring to this planet and how much I can serve others.  I have SO much to share from my experiences.  I am done hiding.  I am giving myself permission to shine.  And that fear, that worry about what others might think. . .gone.  It’s what I believe about myself that matters.  I am beautiful.  I am happy.  I am a light.  And I am ready to serve.
