Don’t Let Go

As I was scrolling Instagram this morning, I saw a post that made me think of a song I’d written many years ago called Don’t Let Go. This person spoke of their personal struggle and holding on to hope. I know what it’s like to feel the jaws of Hell gaping open after you, and the darkness that can encircle you during those times. To cope during those years I wrote songs of faith and hope. Most are still in the form that follows–scratch demo quality. BUT the message is clear.

Dear friend, as you struggle, keep holding on to hope and faith in Jesus Christ. There is healing, but until that healing comes there is absolute purpose in the struggle. Trust that He knows your pain and sees your heart.  I know that every struggle, every sorrow, every tear will be worth it. And some day you’ll look back on the journey in awe at the strength you’ve gained, the wisdom you’ve been blessed with, and the knowledge that you have done all that was required to receive all that He has.  This song is for you. . .
